The KAFTA Board still dedicated to promoting and supporting local artists, performers, and vendors. We have chosen to try an online event this year. We envision the 2020 Fall Into Arts festival as a way for local vendors to reach an expanded audience by way of our festival website and Facebook page.
We hope you, as a community member, will support this event and the participating vendors. With the majority of craft-fairs canceled this year, local artists need your support more than ever.

Author Gail Haris
Gail Haris debuted her first novel Worth a Shot, a steamy romantic comedy with a twist of suspense, in January 2020. Gail has hit the ground running and has been writing ever since. In her first year as a published author, she also released a new adult romantic suspense series - The Randalls, a three book series that follows the struggles of the Randall siblings. She also joined other author worlds such as, Corinne Michaels' Salvation Society, K. Bromberg's Everyday Heroes, and Vi Keeland and Penelope Ward's Cocky Hero Club.
Using coffee and her imagination as fuel for her passion of writing contemporary romances that blend laughter and true love out of every day chaos. She writes in a variety of genres including, romantic comedy, romantic suspense, and new adult/ coming of age romance.

Fran Dalton Cooper
Fran Dalton Cooper is best known for light-hearted mixed media collages made of painted paper, string, banged up automobile parts and other discarded items. A Kennett, Missouri native and retired bank marketing director, she secretly envied the graphic artists with whom she worked. Three years ago she began posting her work online. The encouragement and support she received from Facebook friends helped convince her to make art a full-time vocation. Nowadays, she enjoys creating canvases that make people smile and don’t require the Member FDIC or Equal Housing Lender logos.

Southern Sno is a family owned and operated business in Kennett! The Henderson Family started selling Sno Cones in 2008 because they wanted to bring something different to the world of Sno Cones. Amick Creations
Rand and Cindy Amick are former educators. After retiring four years ago, they decided to start a small business. They began Creations. Their inventory includes wood signs of all sizes. They make home décor, porch signs, personalized signs, special order signs, and more. They also have wooden Christmas trees in various sizes.
In addition to their woodcrafts, they also sell florals -- all occasions, special occasion, and holiday wreaths, swags, and table decorations.

Grecian Steak House
The Grecian Steak House of Kennett offers a wide variety of items on their menu, including hand-cut steaks from the Grecian Butcher Shop cut to your preference.

Grecian also offers a large, nice banquet room that can be reserved for meetings, parties, and other events. They also offer catering to off-site locations.
The restaurant has been family owned and operated for over forty years! The Hrissikos and Panousis families opened the Kennett Grecian Steak House in May 1979. Since then, the families have dedicated the last forty-years to serving the community of Kennett and surrounding areas.
What started out as a family of four has grown into a bigger family that now includes children, grandchildren, and the community.

Ceru Art by Tamarra Lynn-Richmond
Tamarra Lynn (Ceru) enjoys created pieces inspired by dreams, metaphysics, the use of symbols and psychology. Her focus is primarily on mixed media with an experimental process serving a personal function for self-understanding and healing. The concepts are first sketched but the creation process is more experimental in nature “The idea comes but I don’t always know what I’m going to use. I figure it out along the way and sometimes it means a piece is done and picked back up to take a new form years later. The key idea is to explore ways to make it real, while learning to be comfortable with the uncertainty which often leads to transformation-results often being wildly different from the original concept.”
Early inspirations in art history include the Surrealism of Salvador Dali, folklore illustration artist Arthur Rackham and Zdzislaw Beksinski, early exhibitions of work were displayed in the Cape Arrow Head Gallery of Poplar Bluff and Fays Place and Three Rivers Tinin Art Center.

Tracy Satterfield
Tracy Satterfield is a self-published children’s book author from Kennett. Her Piper Jane Series is derived from her childhood, growing up on a farm, living a simple life as a farmer’s daughter on Treasure Island. Tracy’s youngest son, Easton Satterfield, joined her on this adventure by illustrating the books.
Piper Jane is an 8-year-old girl that just seems to be drawn to mischief. The Piper Jane Children’s Book Series currently has two books in circulation: Piper Jane Bubblegum Blunder & Piper Jane 3rd Grade Play Mix-Up.

Sister Beads
Lindsay and Alyssa Crafton began making beaded creations this summer to make life a little more colorful. The siblings started making clay beads in all colors to string on their custom lanyards. Each lanyard is made with 5-6 hand-crafted beads, a breakaway clasp, and a lobster claw.
