    ........................................................ Location- The Palace Theater { View top entries from the Short Film/Video Competition & three films selected by the KAFTA Board. }

    LEGO Creation Contest Viewing
    .................................. Youth and adult entries can be viewed at the Ultimate Gymnastics & Cheer lobby. Entries must be submitted on Sept. 8th for consideration in the competition.

    10 a.m. - 5 p.m.

    The Great Train Robbery
    ....................................................................... A silent film from 1903 where a group of bandits stage a brazen train hold-up, only to find a determined posse hot on their heels. Henry Andrews of Kennett, MO to accompany on piano.

    1:20 p.m.

    "The Sound of the Silent Film"
    ......................................................... A Discussion on Live Music at the Palace Theater in the Silent Film Era presented by Everett Mobley

    1:00 p.m.

    The Great Train Robbery (1979)
    ..................................................... In this film by the same name, a master criminal makes elaborate plans to steal a shipment of gold from a moving train.

    Competition Presentation
    .................................................................. Video/Short Film Competition Viewing & Award Presentation

    Herbie: The Love Bug
    ................................................................................ In this 1968 classic for the whole family, a race car driver becomes a champion with a Volkswagen Beetle with a mind of its own.
